Welcome to Aber 26!

It is our great privilege to welcome you to the 2026 Annual Conference of the Evangelical Movement of Wales here in Aberystwyth. Year by year, this gathering has stood as a testimony to God’s faithfulness—a place where His Word is proclaimed, His people are strengthened, and His name is honoured. As we come together once more in this familiar and much-loved setting, we pray that the Lord will graciously meet with us, speaking powerfully through the Scriptures and deepening our love for Him and for one another.

Whether you have joined us many times before or are attending for the first time, we are truly glad that you are here. We desire that this week will be one of rich fellowship, spiritual encouragement, and renewed vision as we seek the Lord together.

This year, we are delighted to welcome Phil Swann as our main speaker. He will open the theme, “Mission Unstoppable: The glory of God in the Worship and Witness of His Church.” For many of us, the call of the Great Commission can feel daunting—even leaving us with a sense of fear, guilt, or weariness. Through the morning Bible readings in the Great Hall from Tuesday to Friday, we trust that we will hear God’s Word both to reassure and strengthen us, helping us to recover a fresh and joyful confidence in His purposes and to put the great back into our understanding of the Great Commission.

Alongside the main sessions, we are thankful for a full programme of teaching, seminars, and activities for all ages. We hope this guide will serve you well as you navigate the week and make the most of all that is on offer.

Please do remember those who are serving throughout the conference in your prayers, and take every opportunity to enjoy fellowship with one another. If this is your first time at the conference, you are warmly invited to the Welcome Meeting at 6:30 pm on Saturday in Y Sgubor (located centrally on the PJM and Fferm Penglais site). We would love to meet you and help you settle in for the week ahead.

Our prayer is that, as you spend these days together under God’s Word, you will be refreshed in spirit, strengthened in faith, and equipped to serve Christ with renewed joy and purpose in your local church and community.
